I have a silver 2010fx4 with the chrome trim inside of the headlights and taillights. I really like the fx2's how they came with the black trim inside the lights. Any one up for a trade please let me know? thanks

you can pull yours apart and paint them to look like those. or you can buy them from a dealer. i really doubt you will find someone to trade though.

yeah i hear that looks like it might be the imppossible, lol. i mean black door handles black flares , chrome head and tail lights come on FORD wuts the deal.....

 

if you buy the "lower" end of a model you won't get all the options obviously, 1 of those being painted handles.

i did figure that all the fx4's had painted handles by now but a quick google search proved me wrong.

 

lower end model? my truck has evrything except nav and leather, i would have thought it would have came with the painted handles also, thats what i really wanted.

 

i would like to piant them but do you think i will have a problem getting them to seal after pullin apart, i would hate for them to fog up with the weather conditions down here.

 

if you seal them correctly no. most of my friends have pulled theirs apart and painted them and sealed them back up with no issues.

i'll be pulling apart my dad's f250's headlights to do them once he gets his front grille painted black.

 

also going to pull the chrome oem steps off too. just doesnt look right to me.

 

you have a 4 door or ext cab?

i'll have a set for a ext cab that are black come friday i'll most likely be pulling off.

I don't like the chrome lights either. But i bought the chrome package on my truck, chrome handles, bumpers, etc. but i would like to get the black heads and tails. can't talk my dad into trading me his lol. good luck tho

 

you can also paint yours. i know a handful of people on this site have done it, not sure how the paint holds up. you can also sell yours and try and find a set. should have no trouble getting at least $150 for yours. another option is have them line-x'd in black xtra (xtra prevents fading).
