TBC not working ??

I installed a factory trailer brake controller in my 2010 f150. I have taken it to the dealer and had it turned on. It displays gain and power in the gauge cluster. I believe I have the relay and the fuse installed as well. But it does not work. I have no trailer brakes, they all worked with my 2004 f150 and an oddysea controller, so I know all my trailers nrakes work. Also I do not get a message saying that the trailer is connected. Can someone please shed some light on what I'm missing?
Thanks in advance,
Darrell

Is it as simple as a fuse or wire that feeds the trailer plug? There was a post a few months back where a guy added a controller and one dealer told him the controller was bad and the other figured out how to program and get it working.

Trigger;

You said "you believe" the relay and fuses are in place - that is the key here - verify that they are installed first as no signals/power will get to the trailer without them.

Unless you put them in place yourself I would lay a fiver on the table that the dealer did not.......unless you specifically requested them to.....
