Weathertech questions

First off, new to this forum. Just purchased a 2011 SCREW shortbed 4x4 XLT ecoboost.

Looking at getting the weathertech digifit mats.

1. Should I buy them direct or is there a dealer with better pricing and ship times that I should use?

2. Also considering the weathertech no drill mud guards. Was also thinking of oem ford flaps. Which do you guys like better?

Thanks in advance!

Put some pics up and people might answer your questions

I have the OEM flaps, got them for cheap from the dealer. They went on easy - I like them.

I saved $5 on my digi fits through my line-x dealer. The digi's have been some of the best money spent on the truck so far.

Welcome aboard!

Buy them wherever you can find them the cheapest, but no matter where they are bought from, they will ship directly from the manufacturer. Also look at the manufacturer's site and get the correct model number. Have had incorrect ones shipped before when the seller said would fit fo my truck, but it was for a previous model year.

Bought mine directly from a Linex dealer. Took them out to the truck and made sure they fit. That way no hassle trying to return ship them if they are wrong ones.

I bought them direct through weathertech for my 06 and 11 F150's. I shopped around and the prices seemed to be about the same everywhere I checked so I went direct. It only took 4 days to get them for my 11.

I bought my weathertechs through a Ford Dealer in texas. Here is the quick link to the write-up with an explanation.

I don't know if they still have any but it was cheaper than anywhere I could find. They are generally the same price anywhere but this dealer had an overstock of them. Good luck.

Spent a lot of time looking for deals on Weathertech mats. Found that no one really sells them for any less than on their website. Maybe $5-$10 difference. If you have the exact part number you might try ebay, got some off a guy who got some for his truck and didn't like them. Slightly used and half the price.

Thanks for the replies guys! You are backing up what I had been finding out. I've noticed the oem flaps are the same all way back to 04'. Or am I nuts?

I just purchased a used 2009 FX4 with 16,000 miles. I found weathertechs the cheapest at svcustoms. They have 15% off now and free shipping. The SCab mats front and rear come too $183 shipped. I ended up getting the Husky Weatherbeaters instead. $114 shipped from Streetside Auto. I live in upstate NY with alot of snow here and liked the lip better on the Husky's to hold the salt water in the liner instead of draining out onto the door sill like the weathertechs. The fit on the new Husky's is also great like the Weathertechs.

The sale must be over.I just checked the svcustoms website and the weathertech floorliners cost more there than anywhere else I've seen them.

Regarding the weathertech mud flaps, can anybody explain how the flap attaches w/o any drilling?

Also - any pics on a FX4 install with the factory running board, the weathertech website suggests that this will not fit.

Any pics would be appreciated so I can see how they look.

I have a full set of mats and no drill flaps on all three Fords, I love them. I bought mine on Amazon for the cheapest price and free shipping.

The no drill flaps attach with stainless cam lock fasteners and they have not rusted or fallen off yet.
