My truck is 5 years old and my seats still look great. I have used the conditioner from the King Ranch Saddle Shop since I bought mine

yeah only problem is that stuff isn't cheap! (from the dealer its like 20$) and on my truck I can use a whole bottle on the front two seats! But if you got to the KR section on here there is a boat load of leather care info.

But I defiantly like the leather in my truck compared to the newer leather they use... My mother has a 08 KR expy and her seats look worse than mine already!

I have a 2010 and I have noticed that my seats did this also but not to the extent that I see in those pics. I came to the realization that I was over conditioning the seats and not all of the product was getting absorbed. When I would sit in the seat, the leather of course bends and manipulates itself around the weight of the occupant and when I would get out of the seat I would notice these lines like yours. I noticed that it was the conditioner seeping back out of the leather then drying and leaving a white residue in the normal folds of the seat. I would casually wipe away the residue with a damp towel and all is well. Since having this problem I do not use as much conditioner per application and have had no further problems. Just as a suggestion, Leather CPR is highly recommended by me, it does a great job.

It's going to happen no matter what. It's the type of leather used. Raptor has the same cracks forming.

And its not really cracks, its more like creases. Can't see it effecting durability.

Ya the thing that puzzles me is that piece of leather with all the cracks on it is the SoftesT piece of leather in the truck and always looks nice and conditioned.
I have conditioned the seats 3 times in the last 10 months iv owned the truck with King Ranch Leather Conditioner, so i at least think i am keeping them nice and conditioned.
should i condition that piece of leather more or condition it less??? i am baffled by this one strip of leather haha

I always used Neatsfoot oil on my 04, TSC has a good sized bottle for $8-10. Those seats were as supple as an old catchers mitt. Man I miss the smell of the inside of that truck.
