This will probably be my last ford after dealing with the service department.
That's not Ford's problem - go find a competent dealer.

im starting to think the service departments are just flubbing on the 09-10s in an attempt to sell some 2011s.

I had my trany reprogramed 2 weeks ago, to fix bumping feeling. Its back. Its got to be something in the driveline. I was approaching a light to stop. I put in neutral then stoped, 2 bumps right after complete stop. The reprogram kinda fixed shifting problem. I only have 8,000 miles on it.

Any updates on these issues?

Anyone with similar porblems that actually had them fixed and didn't get the run around?

Thanks.

3rd dealer said its my locking differential clunking between shifts. They wanted to tear the rear end apart but I need the truck and they wanted it for 2 weeks. Once I get my second car running I can drop this dump off at the dealer and let them play/tinker with it.

Does anyone get a hard clunking on the front right axle when making a uturn at a notch before full crank. It only happens when I make the turn and the truck goes up a slopping driveway (think of uturning in a residential neighborhood using a driveways entry portion to get extra room to clear the turn).

58,000kms, 2010 5.4L Screw has been in the dealers shop endless times. 10 times to diagnose faulty valve seals. Removed and replaced 24 valve seals (they do this by lifting the cab off frame). Now 1 month out of the shop for valve seals, been in 5 times to diagnose a thunk when threshold braking. Diagnosed as a slip bump on the yolk last year..greased it..and flashed the tranny. It came back a few months ago. Now the slip bump has started to thunk at low driveshaft rpm. Up on the hoise it goes again, turns out the driveshaft has "excessive lateral movement". Ford ordered a new drive shaft ($1200 Cdn, but under warranty). Wondering if this has caused any damage to the rear seal on the tranny. Who knows. Also on my 3rd keyless entry pad on the drivers door. Lights keep shorting out, so they replace the entire handle. I'm starting to wonder about this truck. Should have kept my Lincoln Town Car. . The real pisser is this truck isn't even put to work, hauls me and a coffee cup around..and that is about it.
