Strobe Lights

Anybody install hide-a-way / stealth strobe lights in their head/tail lights?
I'm looking for ideas on kits and suggestions.

I'm leaning towards this kit. Seems to heave good reviews from what I've seen on different boards and not a bad cost.

Sirennet 90 Watt 6 Strobe Kit

Any recommendations on other brands to look at as well as install or where to put the power supply is also appreciated.

I looked at doing that with a unit that someone gave me out of State Police cruiser. I ended up just getting flashers to wig wag my headlights and taillights.

That looks like it should be a good system and priced right with everything included, stay with 90 watt or higher and you won't have any issues. I'm running the same type of system except Whelen and it was much more expensive. I put the power controller under the pass side rear seat in my super-crew. Easy to get to and out of the elements.

What rear flasher system did you use ? The type that alternates between reverse lights and brake lights ? If so what brand, all the ones I see are not compatible with Fords.

I run Whelen Vertex LED's in my '02. Alot brighter and show better color than using colored strobes.

I have SoundOff Signal ETHFSS-SP on the front and ETFBSSN-P on the rear. The fronts alternate the high beams and the rears alternate the top brake light and reverse light.

Not too bad for a guy that works for a fire apparatus factory store. I do like your truck though.

Try speedtechlighting. Much cheaper and just as good quality. I've used there kit for about 2 years now and no issue at all. All bulbs still work perfectly and I use them a good amount. They have everything from grill leds to directional bars and sirens and PAs. Check em out. I run a 6 head 120w strobe pack 2 in the tails 2 in 3rd brake and 2 in the heads. 6 flash patterns

I was thinking about 2 in the 3rd brake light, any issues with heat buildup and/or melting the plastic?

not at all. no distortion to the 3rd brake light and definitely put out plenty of light! just use a 1" hole saw bit with the drill bit starter on it. same with the heads and tails

Why not use flasher in 3rd brake light? I have cargo lights flash instead of putting strobes in
