traction control issues with leveling kit

hey everyone, i have a 2010 supercab 4x4 with 275-70-18 nitto terra grapplers. i want to install a leveling kit on my pickup but have heard of issues from leveling kits with traction control. right now i have no issues with t.c. and tires fit great with no rubbing. if you have a leveling kit in your truck let me know if you have any issues with t.c. or if you dont and what size tires you have on your truck. i think this only concerns 2009-2011 f150's i believe.

thanks everyone!

I have AS 2.5 levelin kit and 35x12.50 mtz's. I have had the traction control kick on a few times. But just get into the habit of hitting a simple button on the dash and the problem is solved. Good luck.

I have 1.5 inch autospring kit installed and I haven't had any issues with it kicking in when its not supposed to. The only issue i have with the traction control is that even when I hold the button for five seconds it stops me from whipping doughnuts on the ice if I get it going to fast probably for the better though.

Im running a 2 inch leveling kit and have not had any issues. Im also still on stock tires, im not sure if a bigger tire would be the cause of what your describing.

I have a 2 inch AS leveling Kit and 3 inch blocks on the back on a 2010 Platinum Also have 305 /55/20 Cooper LTZs with no problems at all Dont think you could go much bigger on the tires with out spacers or other mods only @ 3/4 inch from the upper control arm

I have the 2.5" and 285.70.17's and have no issues. Traction control only comes on when slipping on mud/snow/ice or cornering too fast and I hit a little bit of washboard pavement. No rubbing either. Very happy.

09 with 2" AS in the front with 305/55r20. No issues at all. Going to put replacement blocks in the back soon, don't think they should mess qith the TCS either.

I got the truck from the dealer with the kit and tires from new so not sure about height difference. It looks much taller than stock though and the wife has to take a jump up to get in. It sits just a tiny bit higher in the front than the rear so if you carry weight often you may want to do something with the rear as well.

Your not holding your button long enough if it won't let you do doughnuts. Mine seems more like 15 seconds. Just wait for the light to flash before letting go of the button.
