Mirror reflector mod!

So because I am the worst painter on Earth, I totally destroyed my reflectors using night shade. So I went to fordparts.com and looked up a set of new inserts for my mirrors. The new inserts are nice because they are black. I think it looks a lot better than night shaded reflectors. let me know what you think. This is a very cheap mod that gets rid of those hidious reflectors. Each insert was about $10.00 ea from Ford.

While these do look good, I am still partial to making these things into blinkers...

I thought about doing that but I figured since this mod was so cheap I might as well do it for now.

yep, that's the way to go since they are same black plastic/texture as the rest of the mirror. I got the same ones almost 2 years ago for my truck.

I installed the blinkers in my reflectors and niteshaded them black. I like the shinier look of the nightshaded ones after being cleared, and they still light up fairly bright at night.

The turn signal night shaded would be nice. Either way it looks way better than those reflectors alone.

I got mine at Autozone. I believe they were called "Flex Lights" I found mine in the tuner section.
