I know this is an old post but this may be useful for other folks.
Had exact same problem. Ford said it is the cluster panel.
Its not the cluster panel, although a new panel will probably fix the problem.
It"s a bad contact where the female connector plugs into the cluster panel connector,
To prove this, remove the cluster panel cover, its easy, 4 screws.
With the key turned on or engine running gently pull or wiggle the wiring harness where it plugs into the cluster panel.
You will be able to recreate the problem. It's a crappy connector problem.
If you can find a 2010 at the wreckers, cut the cluster panel connector out (leave lost of wire slack). Rewire this connector into your truck.
Ford was not able to provide a new connector. They were not helpful, they do not have a pn for the connector but wanted to change out the entire wiring harness.
A new cluster panel will probably work as it will have new shiny clean electrical contacts.

Where is the cluster panel on a 2010 F150 xlsx and how do I get to it. All the same and I have been chasing wires and taking of door panels and WD40 the lock mechanisms. Will try this next. I have all these errors.
