Received a e-mail from the Ford Dealer today....truck is in and prepped, just waiting for me and a check to drive it home.... Hopefully tomorrow will work out well enough to go pick it up. Time to say good by to the 2008...I'll have an 08 Lariat up for sale by the weekend.

Well,
work got in the way and I did not get a chance to pick it up until this afternoon and still have not driven it. My brother and I have a goofy tradition...we always drive the other ones car back from the dealer....no real reason why, but just the way things are. He was impressed....his ride is a new Taurus AWD....and he likes the truck.

Saturday is supposed to be okay...45 degrees and clear. Time to get this beast cleaned up and decent pics taken....

Thats a real nice looking truck, congratulations! I think the chrome compliments the sterling gray very nicely, which...correct me if I'm wrong...is a new color for the Lariat this year. I know it was available on other trim levels for 09-10 but not the Lariat? I like it

 

It'll be weird selling my 98 when I've had it for 13 years.
