The only thing you have to trim is the control arm which you can't! Had one slight rub making a hard turn uphill pulling into work this morning. Off maybe 1 to 2 mph and I'll take it to the dealer to re-calibrate. Aftermarket wheels with a 5.5 to 5.7 backspace should get these tires to clear the control arm. They would have to be 8.5 to 9 inches wide also. The stock 20's pull the tire and wheel way inside the wheelwells.
Any plans for changing the wheels?

Curious if you have the factory Nav to validate the calibration? When I put 305/55R20 Nitto TG's on my '04 it actually corrects my odometer. Reads slow with the factory wheels/tires...
