Paint Billet Grill Black?

I have a chrome billet grill for my 09 KR but I've done away with all the chrome on my truck and I want to paint the grill black. Does anybody know what I should do so I can do that? I think I would prefer it to be a glossy black if that's possible?? ANY IDEAS?

I painted one really well once and all it did was chip with every rock chip and then the underlying chrome would show. If I were going to do it again I would use a something durable like linex or have it powdercoated. It was on my mustang that I painted, which does sit alot lower. This may have been the problem too with the rock chips.

or sell it and get the black billet grille from Carriage Works. I had one on my 04 FX4 for 5 years and the finish held up great even through winter/salt.

I've thought about selling it and just repurchasing a black one like you said SteveVFX4 but I also thought this might be a fun little project but it may just be a headache. I had a little bit of chrome on my King Ranch and then I decided to make black mods so from no on I want everything black. Does anybody of where any good halo projector headlights are that are plug and play w/ HIDs?
