One hack of a good "standard" engine for the SCrew.

Well done Ford.

Imagine that tech in a 6.2L...
and EB it

Not that I needed it, but its nice to see someone with some experience in automotive reviews pretty much confirm the way I have felt about my 5.0. And, admittedly, its nice to hear that it is as quick as the 6.2 in the GM's. Maybe now my buddy will be a bit quieter about how much more power his 6.2 has. I can definitely say from experience that the 5.0 pulls strong. Been very happy with it for the 2 weeks I have owned it.

True, almost as quick. But for someone who has only the powertrain to brag about, to hear that it is effectively a wash should all but shut him up. Can we also use these dyno charts to put the argument to rest that the 5.0 does not have as much down low as the 5.4 did-

5.4 figures

5.0 Figures(sorry for all the extra junk, its all one img)

Not to mention with the gas money you are saving you could easily mod your truck a little and probably be able to beat him and still get better gas mileage.
