Don't forget to call your insurance company to get the plow added. They tend to be real jerks if you have an accident with a plow and you didn't update your insurance. I don't know from personal experience, but a good friend told me all about it. A lot of out of pocket expense is what he had.

OK, took a couple pics of the truck with the plow on today. Not the best quality because I took them with my blackberry, but they show it. The front drops maybe 1/2" when the blade is lifted. Let me know what you think.
It looks nice! How much modification did they have to do to your truck to get it installed? Are the plow lights hooked into your fog lamps or are they a seperate switch?
It looks just the right size for the F150. Unfortunatley now all you need is a little snow so you can try it out.
The installation of a plow is really pretty easy. It's mostly plug and play. It hooks into your parking lights and your head lights with a series of plugs that match the plugs on your truck. Only one small hole has to be added thru the firewall for feeding the plow controls thru to your dash (or fishstick if it's a Fisher hand held control).
The only true modification to the truck is removing tow hooks and cutting notches into the plastic air dam to provide clearance for the frame mounts.
The set up looks good. I never noticed the built it back drag feature, that and downforce will certainly help clean up the snow by the garage.
Of course I know where Rockford is, but are you saying you know my street and everything?
Supposed to get some snow tonight and tomorrow. Should be able to try her out.
Just a rough estimation based on the location of the water tower & the homes. I'm from north of Rockford... actually..north of you by about 5min. I just say "Rockford" to be broad & general.
Like I said, not trying to be creepy or anything.. lol I'd really have to care to even try narrowing it down any more than that. (and i dont! )

Yeah I thought maybe you recognized the houses across the street or something. I have thought about changing the location to northern IL or ssomething like that. Maybe I should. Next guy might not be cool about it like you are. So I can estimate about where you are.
I have a 2012 F 150 Platinum with a Sno way 26 R Loves it works great but you need to put on good tires I just put on bfg TA KO2 and are great and now I just need a level kit on it because of the height of plow and need more clearance but if you go with a bigger tire too then it be hard on the transmission.
