Any under seat Tool box Options...

Other than the "DU-HA"? It seems like a nice quality fit and can be bolted down, just wondered if there are any other options I haven't seen.

Thanks!

There are threads on here of how to make one out of a 1" x 8'. Shape the sides with a jig saw, screw together and use a strap to secure each side. I used some carpet from the auto section of walmart to cover it. It looks factory unless you inspect close. Cost around $25.

Ditto. I did this in my '05. Looks great. From the front you really can't tell it's not factory. Holds a lot of junk too.

Who makes a subwoofer box with built in storage? I haven't seen one yet.

I've searched but can't find the threads. Can anyone remember the name of the thread or how long ago it was on here? Thanks.

So why is the Husky unit better than the Ford unit?

I know Huskys mud guards are better (not as prone to breaking) but curious why the box is better?

It was on another forum:

The hardest part for me was finding automotive carpet. If you have black carpet, like in a FX4, the local walmart had some for 8$.

Sorry - I never bothered to get clean pics after I was done with my install, but this is the jist of it.

Is that a fuse and fuse holder that is only like 7 inches away from the amp? Please tell me you have a fuse on that line close to the battery

I got the box from a guy that makes them online in Tenn. It came with the box, sub, amp, etc.

As for the fuse, its a funny thing. I wasn't sure about the installation and my brother had done it in the past. For whatever reason, which sounded good at the time, that same fuse appears in the rear and the front of the truck. I don't know why he thought I might need to "quick" disconnect but its a feature, not a bug.
