scab, passenger doors a little funky ?

Good day folks,
When I close the passenger main door there sounds to be sort of an internal rattle/thumb for lack of a better description. Never did it before, been happening for a month or 2 now.
If I close the doors independently of each other, or thump and knock them around I can't duplicate. Thumpety-thump on the interior door panel reveals nothing as well. When standing facing the doors, close the door, the sound almost seems to be coming from underneath at the cab corner ?? Nothing visibly loose etc. Weird.

Anyone have something similar to this go on ?

thanks either way.

Same problem, but on drivers side. Only when the temps get down. Warms up to 20 or more and it goes away. When I shut the drivers door I hear the noise in the rear door, Scab. I'll find the problem when spring comes.

I had the same problem on my 07 Scab Lariat. It turned out to be the lower latch. Had to grind the hole bigger to move the latch in. It stopped the problem.

I am not sure what it is called, but I will call it the pressure relief port (lol).

Between the bed and the cab there is a flapper that allows for a pressure relief when you close the doors. If you close the rear driver's door and look down between the bed you will see it flap open and close. Not sure if that is the thump you are hearing.

Kiowamtp, you might be on to something there. That may explain why I thought I heard something from the cab corner area. I thought I was going nuts.
Further investigation required.
Thanks for all the replies.

I had a latch adjustment at about 20000 kms, now I have an issue on the really cold mornings with the truck saying my rear door is open. Took it in for a service and they just lubed it, will wait for another cold morning to see if it helped.

I have a noise like something came loose in side the drivers door near the back or maybe in the rear door. I always here it when making a right turn and hitting bumps. I also have a loud squeaking sounds like coming from the passenger window, think that could be from the cold?
