HELP... Truck Shutting Off/Stalling Out!

Alright Guys,
I have never had this problem before but in the last two days my truck has randomly just shut off. I was approaching stops both times and as I came to a stop the truck just died. Radio sstays on along with all the lights but the engine completely shuts off. The weird part is that it does not have any problem firing right back up. Any ideas???? Its still under warrantly so I will be taking it in but just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience. By the way my truck is an 3v 4.6L 09 Screw with a SI/DO Flowmaster on it but other than that it is completely stock.

Add me to the list of stall issues. My 2010 f150 xlt with 3G 4.6 was only 3 months old when it started. Two trips to the dealership solved nothing as they couldn't "duplicate the problem". I loved my truck but got fed up and traded it in for a 2010 Ram 1500 w/hemi- best decision I've ever made. I love Ford and have owned several but I'm tired of my trucks living up to the "Found On Road Dead" joke. I'm going to wait until 2012 to see how the new motors hold up before I even think of going back to Ford.

So far this seems just to be with 4.6L 3V based trucks. Have not heard of any 5.4s

The exact same thing happened to me last week. The engine was running real rough, I came up to a stop sign and it just died but the radio and lights kept running. It started right back up but continued running rough, the check engine light also came on.

Dropped it off at the dealership this morning, they just called and said it was a "bad oxygen sensor". It should be ready this afternoon so I'll let you know how it runs.

It's the 5.4 with just over 28,000 miles. Still under warranty.

Almost the same. The folks above stall without any codes or check engine light. Good to hear your issue was corrected.

Go to your dealership and get it fixed under your warranty. Unless your out of warranty you really have nothing to worry about.
