Bluetooth stopped working on my sync...

This ever happened to anyone? 2011 FX2 with the nav. It's been acting up for a while, lots of lag and stuff and then connecting to my phone and instantly disconnecting and back and forth and today I cant even turn it on!! It was off for some reason so I went into the menu and turn it back on and it just turns right back off. If I hit the button on my steering wheel it asks me to turn on Bluetooth and I do and it shuts back off. So am I going to need a whole new nav unit or is this a simple fix?

With the truck off and key out of the ignition, try removing the Sync fuse for 2-3 minutes.

If that doesn't work, off to the dealer.

I tried that right before I read your reply and only for like 30 seconds but it worked!! But it did say 911 assist was not working please see dealer. It may have needed more start up time. I'll try again here in a little.

Thanks for the help!

Pulling the fuse is probably like a major reset. You most likely will have to select 911 Assist again in the menu.

Good read. My piece of junk LG Chocolate is always giving me greif with Sync. Most of the time, it stays on Bluetooth and I get a call miles away from the truck, and the person who calls me can hear me, but I can't hear them. I'll have to try the fuse thing. Thanks.

It's more like a CTL-ALT-DEL.

Pulling the fuse will not erase any stored data (phonebook, addresses, etc.) or settings (like a Master Reset).

FYI, you should perform a Master Reset before selling the truck.

My problem is not with the truck, but with the phone. I pull the battery out of phone for about a minute. Then SYNC works for a month or so and then have to do the same thing again.
