I traded my 05 F250 diesel on a 2010 Fx4 screw. Getting rid of that 6 liter diesel was the happiest and saddest day of my life. The new owner put several grand in it shortly after 100k miles... I have done nothing but buy gas and oil changes for the new f150. It is nice to have a simple reliable truck that burns 87 octane and takes cheap oil etc... I have to haul the RV a little slower but the F150 does the job.
Make sure you have the snow shield over the shifter linkage. I don't know if they came with the 2011's but some 09-10 guys have had the shifter cable frozen under the truck when driving in the snow. There is a TSB on it...

A bit less low end torque but the 5.0 winds and has a lot more high end HP.

I have an 09 F-150 with the 5.4 and I feel my 5.0 is significantly better as far as power. Not ******* the 5.4 at all, just a little down on power but it is tried and true. 5.0 is a lot more fun to drive too.

Thanks! Yes I will be getting some dual exhaust first, then a bed liner and possibly some black rims if I decide to completely black her out. Probably black the windows out too. I was chrome happy on my last 3 trucks but not anymore!
