That's cool man. Thanks for posting. That engine will be a PITA to service if something goes wrong.

The rep said their turbos are extremely reliable lol. He was supposed to add me on FB so I can post where their EcoBoost Test-drive tour stops next but no invites yet. I know they're off to Louisiana this weekend and will be back to Texas (Houston) next week but that's about it.

The event model I drove with said you can also request a test-drive online and they'll come to your house, sounds pretty weird. I asked for a pic of her next to the F-150 but she declined, sorry.

So how far did you drive it? What are your thoughts on it? I assume it had the 3.73 rear end since it has the FX4 off road package? What kind of mileage did you experience?

I see one picture?

You're too lazy to post it here, so I'm too lazy to try and figure out your FaceBook link.

Thanks for playing.

He does have some good pixs there of the ecoboost cutaway. When I was at TMS they wouldn't let me take pixs of the engines

Oh if you want to see the rest of his pixs, click on next in the top right hand corner of the first pix

Hi Chris,

You can either click directly on the pic itself or click Next as JohnDeereFarmer mentioned. Thank you JDFarmer.

JDFarmer,

The very first thing that I noticed was that the brakes really grip! I know this isn't at the top of most people's list but I got into some scary situations with my '08 so that's important to me. The brakes on my '99 are WAY better than my FX4's. Anyhow, asides from the new interior layout and cluster display, which I really love btw, I thought the power was there for a V6. It felt very responsive both from dead stop and on the freeway. I couldn't really punch it or anything because I was busy chatting with the model lol but from a seat of the pants feel it had more punch than my 5.4L. Another thing I noticed was that the interior sound level was very low, something not related to power but important to me as well. We only put at the most 2 miles on it so there's no way I can give you an MPG estimate, sorry.

I hope this answered your question somewhat lol.

They brought my test drive this evening. 4dr FX4, Lux Package, Nav, Max Towing Package. Awsome truck. The truck had a low end growl to it, like the turbos or exhaust, loved it. Really had alot of getup even just part throttle it would be at 60 before you realized. Coming from my 2010 4.6 3v I was surprised. I punched it a couple times - really puts you back in your seat. Getting on the interstate it went 40 to 85 like it was nothing. I want one bad.

Only if you log into Facebook. If you don't have an account, you don't see the 'next' button.

I like the interior in it. Not sure if I like where the mirror control is though.

No it's on top of the door panel. I like it better with the window controls but that's just me.
