I'm debating on either a 2010 with the 5.4 or 2011 with the 5.0. and just wanted to see the fuel mileage you guys are getting lifted with 35's.

I've got the 2010 5.4L with 6in BDS lift and 35in toyo open countrys. I do mostly city driving and peaked out at 12mpg on the computer and it pretty much stayed there, now that it is winter the computer is at 11.7mpg. I haven't done a manual crunch lately, but my computer was within .5 mpg of actual.

any tuners or chips that help?

my 7.3 powerstroke gets 14-15 city and 17-18 hwy with a leveling kit and 35's.

Nope, stock with a bakflip. I don't consider myself to have a heavy foot but I do stompk on it occasionally.

I get 13.0 mpg all day. I usually stomp on it but it stays about the same. I also run premium, if I run the garbage stuff I get about 12 to 12.5. Dont know why but I do!!

Yea, I run the cheap stuff. Do you do much hwy driving, and what are your gears r8rone? Also see you did the Gotts mod, I heard it didn't do much for the 09+, what do you think? O, and I just hit 5500 miles on the odometer, so I think the break in may or may not be done.

That's what I get with 10"+ inches of lift, 4.88's, and 38x15.50's. I assumed you guys mileage would be at least better than what I got especially with a newer/better transmission..

Is that all city driving, because 12 is mine in the city only? And do larger gears help mileage? I'm hoping mine will increase a little more now that I'm close to 6k miles and breaking the engine in.

O, you didn't say you had a tuner, cheater...lol

I was contemplating the tuner until I heard some horrer stories about them on lifted trucks screwing up the tranny and engine. Not sure if its true, or more operator error.

As long as its tuned correctly you should have zero problems. That is why I prefer PHP because Bill used to be a ford program writer or something to that nature.

And yes, that is my city mileage. On the highway it might creep up to 13,14 with the wind at your back and doing only 60, thats a big maybe though. Normally its 12 across the board both city and highway...

And yes I did leave out I'm custom tuned by PHP, completely forgot... I don't think I have driven my truck but maybe a week in the last 4 months, it has been in one shop to another since the axles crapped out, now the trans/transfer case/ TQ is crapped out... Everything took a chit at once!

That sucks how many miles on your truck, now I's that associated with your huge tires, or the programer?
