Thanks. It's for my wife's Escape, so she just ended up purchasing a Samsung Solstice since it passes about all the tests for sync on the syncmyride list.

Does anyone know if all sync systems are the same and can so the USB2 mod?

I have AT-T and a Pantech phone. All works well except it won't download my contacts (phonebook) list. So my calls out have to be made by voice command and of course I must know that number. I'm going to stop by my AT-T store and ask them about a new SIM card. Thanks for that tip.

when you say streaming music, do you mean streaming like from a pandora site. If so how do you do that? Does it cost you minutes or do you stream via an 'unlimited data' package from your carrier?

I listen to music via Pandora or just my mp3s on my phone. I have an unlimited data package from Sprint.

....the only thing I DON'T like is that each time the phone connects to the Sync system, it automatically starts playing music on my phone, whether I'm in Bluetooth Audio or not.....kinda aggrivating when you get out of the truck, and your phone starts blarring "I'm Too Sexy" in the parking lot! That was fixed by turning off the bluetooth audio option within the settings for that connection within Android.

Heybeerman... let me ask you a question... mine sync system is doing the same thing, maybe not playing "I'm too sexy" as the first song...lol, but more like playing my Google Voice Voicemails, which are MP3's when the truck starts. Nothing like have the wifes sexy voicemail messages playing in the background as I have clients getting in the truck...lol.... but that's a whole other issue.

Anyway... I read your post but I was unable to find the bluetooth audio option within the phone... I have a Droid X with 2.2 install... can you provide me a little guidenance as to where this setting is...? This just starting happening a few weeks ago...so I'm thinking it started when I upgraded the droid operating system to 2.2.

Thanks for any help you can provide...
