I've looked everywhere I can think to find a body lift for my truck. Does maybe a 08 body lift work? I've looked at suspension lifts but they are too expensive.

 

I put Icon coilovers on my 2wd or you could do a 2.5" leveling kit.. All depends on how high you want the truck to sit.

 

Could I put a 3" level kit in the front and then a 3" block in the back to get the same results?

I looked and they don't have icon rollover kits for my exact truck.

You dont want to go higher than a 2.5" leveling kit because the upper ball joint angles will be too steep. My coilovers are only cranked to 2" right now until I install Total Chaos UCA's that will take care of the upper ball joint problem. I have a 2.5" AutoSpring leveling kit brand new in the box that I ordered before I bought the ICON's and I dont need it.. You can have the kit for $60 if you want it. As for rear blocks, I suggest 2" blocks. You can get them on Ebay for $80 with U bolts

Anything cheaper than the UCA's that could stop the angles from being too steep. I heard somewhere someone came out with a 3" front leveling kit that's at an angle that takes the pressure off. Not sure if it actually works. If the leveling kit fits my truck I would be more than happy to take it off your hands.
What about add-a-leaf would that look better versus the block. I know it's more but it adds more carrying capacity so I would be willing to pay the extra.

 

Kevin @ AutoSpring was going to make a few of us 3" leveling kits but decided at the last minute not to once he saw a photo of the steep angles of the upper ball joints.. A 2.5" leveling kit will still have some what steep angles but not to bad.. Definitely nothing to lose sleep over. The 2.5" leveling kit will actually lift the truck higher than my truck is and I'm running 35's.. Do you need it any higher than that?

The add a leaf will work but will stiffen the ride but if you carry a load or tow a trailer often then that's probably your best bet.

I realize that. Some guys I work with say that when you lift the front it will lower the rear about an inch or so. WHy wouldnt a 4wd rear block work on a 2wd I don't seem to understand the problem.

Im not sure about the 4x4 rear block fitting a 2wd, You could probably use stock 1.5" 4x4 blocks on a 2wd but will need new bolts as the 2wd ones will be too short..But I'm not 100% that they will work.. I would just buy a set that are specific for a 2wd to ensure that they will work.

If you do a 2.5" leveling kit in the front then a 2" rear block on Ebay would be perfect..

That link was for 3" blocks.. If you go with 3" blocks your rear end will be about 1.5" higher than the front.. It will be fine but some guys like the leveled look and not the rake.. If you want a 3" block look into "Ready Lift" 3" blocks, They come with U bolts but are only listed as fitting 4wd. I would suggest calling their customer service # and asking them why they will not fit a 2wd. Hopefully they can answer that.

If you end up buying a block without U bolts, I have a spare set of new U bolts in my garage that came with my 2" blocks that I'm not going to need since I will be reusing the U bolts from my 1.5" blocks.. I will measure them and see if they will work with a 3" block.

 

Did you talk to Performance Accessories? I know that the website says it fits the 5.4, but the website is not up to date on a lot of stuff.
