You can get a 5.0, with a 126" wheel base. Why?

i talked with the guys at whipple today and they are working on a supercharger kit for the 6.2.

the 126" truck has to be lighter then the others. kinda like the idea of a gen3 lightning.

A roughly 400 lb heavier 5.0 SC 145" runs 14.7 1/4 miles. I suspect a 5.0L RC 126" would run close to the same times as a stock Lightning (Does such thing still exist?).

The only F-150 that's NOT a SuperCrew (145" or 157" WB) that has the 6.2 available is the Raptor SuperCab - 133" WB, 5.5' bed. Look at the Raptor as your "Lightning" or hang a blower on a 5.0. Ford actually has aftermarket blowers for the 5.0..........
