Time for the 2008 to go, so I ordered the 2011 F150 Lariat 4x4 last day of the year...just wondering the current build time? Dealer is saying about 6 weeks or so, but I got the feeling that is the "stock" answer.

Not that I have a problem or anything with the 08....been a great truck.... In the 86k miles, one alternator and a set of tires.... But now that a new toy is on the way, chompin at the bit. Already looking at LED's for the inside, checked to see if the Cooper Zeon LTZ's were in stock.... Don't even have the truck yet and already lining up parts for it...

The dealer said they would check on it, but figured I would throw it out here.

my dad ordered his nov. 15 and is still waiting but it should be here any week now

 

Ordered mine Oct 6th and recieved Dec 22nd.

 

I would think it depends on whether you ordered the 5.0 or the EB.

 

Should have clarified that...went with the 5.0...thought about the EB, but never been a fan of new technology the first year.... Plus did not want to wait even longer.

I ordered a SCab FX2 w/ a 6.5' box and a 5.0L. I ordered on October 7, it's still not even scheduled to build as of this morning.

If you've ordered something even slightly unusual (like my longbox SCab) be prepared to wait.
