Leveling Kit Install

Hey guys I was just curious how many of you had installed your leveling kit yourselves? I just got mine, 2 inch AS kit, the truck is 2010 F150 4x4 Screw XLT, just wondering the difficulty and I have read the instructions and it seemed easy enough but was wondering if you guys ran into any problems? Thanks.

It can be done but can be a PITA getting it back in. I have had 2 trucks done so far & watched a shop do it each time. My '09 was the toughest for them. Both were 2". Cost me $140 including them setting the toe. Well worth the $ after watching the procedure.

FUZZYDP - is that taking the parts somewhere, I'm assuming, and having them do it, or is that parts and labor to install?

It took some long pry bars to get my 1.5 kit on myself. It was basic wrench turning. I did use my impact to get the super tight lower strut nut loose. I don't know how the guys get the 2.5" kits on at home, lol...

Took my AS kit to local front end shop & paid them to install/set toe in. It took 2 of them to get mine back in having all the right equipment including air. It is basic mechanics but could be more than a $140 headache doing it yourself. You would still have to take it in to have toe done & pay for that.
