Just recently bought a new 2010 Supercrew Lariat 4x4 with the 3v 5.4L and 6speed tranny in September. I have put 4000k miles on it as of today, love the truck just having one issue with it. It seems that about every other time when I accelerate the 2nd to 3rd shift feels like its searching for a gear or kind shuddering. Its been back to Ford twice and they says they cant find anything wrong its just the way six speed tranny and the torque converter work, but I dont buy that. Anyone else have this issue if so did you get it fixed and what was the fix. Really love this truck but it bugs me the way its shifting, this is my 5th F150 and never had any problems until this one.

 

They are all like that. Mine hunted for every gear and never knew what gear it needed to be in. I hated that truck so much and felt unsafe in it. The 5.4L 3V engine also would have worked better as a boat anchor
