09 XL 2wd Tire Size help

I know it's been asked a million times, I've honestly searched and read every post and I am more now than I was before.

I put the AS 2in leveling kit on the truck and I want to put tires and rims next. I would like to go as large as I can without having any rubbing issues or having to trim anything. I would also like to stay with the 17in rim because I want a tall sidewall.

As for the rims, I'm torn between getting aftermarket rims (backspacing, offset concerns, etc) or going with the Raptor or other style OEM rim.

I would appreciate any help I can get!

Thanks!!

i know u said u wanted 17s, but might think about fx4 18 rim and tire package , tires are 275 65 18, if you purchase rims seperate u could put a 275 70 18 , i think its got a little taller sidewall, by the way u can pick up factory rims tires lots cheaper than aftermarket, just my thoughts , its your truck

After doing more research I think I will go with an 18in rim. I do like the FX4 rim and that has always been an option. Last night I was looking at the Fuel Gauge rims and they are sweet! But like you said, factory rims are a lot cheaper.

Does anyone know what the rim width is for the 18in FX4?
