The only drivers will be me and my wife so I don't see that I need to program a My-Key for limitations. And it would be nice to remote start without having to restart it everytime.
Have you guys reprogramed the remote start to disable the door open shutdown?
I've been reading on how to do it but still a little confused.

Hello, new here. I just bought my 2010 f150 used with 4000 miles on it. I noticed the antenna and found this site. When I got the truck I got one set of keys, no floor matts, no owners manual, no jack and a few other missing things. I did however get a great price on the truck.
What I was wondering is how do I know which remote start system is installed in the truck and what fob to buy? I know I have a lot of stuff to buy to complete the truck, I was hoping I could save some money and not have to buy the remote from the dealer. They want to charge me $50 to tell me the code to get into the drivers door, I do not want to give them more than I have to.
