2011 Brochure
Hmmm I drove a 2011 Plat EB and I couldn't hear any noise. A vault.
Ive never driven a 09-10 Platinum. I know two guys that recently bought '10 platinums. They can't beleive how quiet they are. One guy, life long GM guy prior.

I wonder why you can't get the 6.5 bed and the larger fuel tank with the 6.2L. Having a 6.2L in my stable now, I know first hand how thirsty it is, and would really like to see ford increase the size of the fuel tank.
Also still pissed they dropped basic colors like gloss black and bright white from the Platinum pkg option list. I about bought a bright white 09 Platinum, but wanted to hold out for 6.2L. Now that the 6.2L is available, the color I wanted is gone.
I noticed they skipped the LTD details, the HD, and Raptor was listed in detail. I had hoped maybe the LTD would be available in bright gloss white.
I wish my 10' Raptor had that remote start and the new display.

I hate to say this b/c i know I will miss my truck but I think i may trade it in this week for a 2011 Harley with the 6.2L. On the current 5.4 Triton does any remember the current EPA est?. I know the 6.L is
16 Hwy/12 City
16 Hwy/12 City

I know the 5.4 is rated at 14MPG City in my '09 Platinum. No idea what the highway is.
I know with my 6.2 Raptor, actual has been 11city - 14hwy. So I would guess that the Harley est. should be pretty close at the 16/12. The main difference is the very large and heavy 35's that are on the raptor, and the fact there was not much consideration given to aero dynamics on the Raptor either, like there are not any lower farings below the front bumper, and the body is several inches wider then a Harley would be. So it would make since that if you dropped the truck down used smaller lighter weight highway tires, added some air foils below the front bumper, that the Harley would in all likely hood get 2 mpg better then a Raptor out on the highway, and maybe 1 mpg better around town.
