Its the right when sitting in the seat.......its hard to do it from the outside!

 

That's funny. For what it's worth, the 2011's no longer have this issue. The dash lights are on almost always. I think it has something to do with seeing the new 4.5" information screen. I can't stand my 2010 dash lights, either. I am going to try the electrical tape.

Has anyone confirmed if the sensor is actually two in one, or is the half electical tape just a method that provides a dimmer light reading to the sensor?
