Tires WORN OUT by 10k miles

So I lifted my front with a 2" spacer "doughnut" and leveled the back with 1.5" block. I noticed that about 7-10K miles my tires were SIGNIFICANTLY worn out on the outside. My brothers bought the same FX2 and has driven in worst road conditions with more milage and his tires look new. Could it be that by lifting my truck it messed up the tires? I had it aligned 2 hours after I did those mods. Could it be I need to do an alingment every so 5k miles!??! Please help fellas.

Either your alignment was not set properly or you somehow knocked it out of alignment shortly afterwards.

Three thoughts here:
*Was there a specific way to install the lift spacer, and are you sure you positioned it correctly?
*Perhaps the shop where you took it to be aligned couldn't align it exactly w/o installing a camber kit leaving your wheels with too much positive camber.
*If camber is OK, the truck could have too much toe-in, which should make the steering touchy....are you constantly correcting for a tendency to dart from side to side when you hit irregularities in the road surface?

If worn on the outside, either the alignment was not done properly or went out later.

The outside is wearing due to positive camber. When you install a leveling kit on a truck you will get positive camber. It sounds like the alignment shop did not adjust the camber on your vehicle. Most places will give you a print out when they do an alignment so you can see how bad it was and what they adjusted it to.

...and how often did you rotate your tires (if at all)?

I installed the spacers at a local mechanic's shop. I rotated my tires for the first time around 6K miles just before I noticed significant wear. The same mechanic said he aligned it but didn't give me a print out of the alignment. I took it today to FORD and they aligned it for me and said that over time the tires will "EVEN" out so I guess that means the wear will blend in evenly lol after a couple months
