new Ford engines?
new Ford engines?
Been a while since I dropped buy. I'm over on the dark side in hemi land and life is great. My dodge has been a great truck.
Ford has me interested in going back to the blue with the new line of engines in the f-150.
I leave my negative expireances with Ford in the past. Glad to see the 5.0 is back and 4 v per cylinder is what should have been done before Ford went into the 4.6 5.4 3v engines.
Any one own a new F-150 with Fords eco boast v/6 or the 5.0? Interested in hearing real life comments as I know longer need a 3/4 ton truck.

The new 5.0L is not the same or even remotely related to the old 5.0L if that's what you're expecting. The only thing they have in common is they share the same displacement size. The EB is not available for sale yet until next year.
The 2011's are literally just arriving at some dealerships. I don't think anyone here owns one yet but several of us have one on order.

Direct injection and 4v per cylinder are no where identical to the windsor based 5.0 I have prase for, one question, are thier two timming belts, or chains identical to the sytem the 5.4 3v used?
