Use a tailgate salter and need to modify my back-up camera. Do I just look for a new photo lens, cut the wire and relocate a new lens?? I don't think that it would be a good idea to remove and relocate the original lens, incase something happens. Anyone have experience here???

 

Buy a new emblem with cam and mount it to the spreader, then make the wires long enough to plug into the stock plug under the tailgate

When you have your spreader on just plug it in then when removed just plug the tailgate back in and no harm to the truck
