Tranny Issues...any ideas?

Truck is a 2009 King Ranch 4x4 and was sitting parked for a week. Came back to find a puddle of red fluid underneath which seems to be coming from where the rear transfercase bolts to the tranny, up high and dripping down the back. Any ideas what could have caused this?? I have only 26k miles and never tow anything with the truck. Thanks for any insight.

Do not start or move the truck.

Take pictures with date/time stamp and call your dealer.

Bad connector from the Torque Converter to the Transmission, dealer said it was the first on he has seen on the new body style trucks. This leads me to believe Ford has had this problem in the past...

1 . I'm curious what a " bad connector " would actually be ?
2. I would never believe what the dealer tell me
3. I've never heard of this problem ?
4. Glad they fixed the problem though

It's probably the gasket between the tranny and TC - this has been an issue in the past.

Well, whatever it was they did fix it and stated that I shouldn't see the problem again (as if they put some redesigned part in?).
