Also, with your 6" lift running 12" wide wheels (-44 offset) and 35" tires...how much rubbing and did you have to do any cutting?
First I'll answer the unasked... why 12"wide wheels? Answer, the Rocktars look 100 times better with concave and the 12" width obviously gives the most depth. Guys wonder why some Rockstars look dumb, its because they're too narrow and flat.

Yes, you will have to trim the black valance under the front bumper. I already trimmed it witha cutoff wheel but needs a bit more. Keep in mind, the procomp has removable shims that limit steering. I left all of them on (you can add or eliminate shims but it comes with all of them on the radius arm) so I dont have the steering radius I had stock. It would likely rub more if i did.

Also, I have the stage two with adjustable coilovers. These pics are all taken at 6". I will be raising it another 1" in the front once I find a 6" rear block. It's a 4" block currently.

The tire currently also (barely) rubs the inner most part of the painted part of the front bumper. Keeping in mind the Plats have painted bumpers. It basially just rubs the lower inside corner of the actual bumber. Maybe an inch. Fix will be a slight bumper shim (.5") once I find someone who has done it.

It rubs slightly on the backside of the front wheelwells too. Just need to trim where the wheel lip molding wraps up under the truck. It only rubs it way up under th truck at full turn so a cut wont be visible but I dont have the nerve yet to cut something that is painted lol.

The price we pay for the wide wheel look, lol. Plus I am vertically challenged due to my garage height at work so a 9" lift wasnt an option (for those thinking it). But honestly its not a lot of trimming at all. Most trucks require some trimming and spacing the front bumbper forward isn't too uncommon either. A minimal trim here n there and the extra 1" in height and it shouldnt rub at all

The rockstars only came in 10" or 12" widths. The KMC Monsters come in 22x11, which wasnt wide enough for the look i wanted BUT that one inch would probably clear everything better... just an option for others considering wide wheels. Rockstars werent my first choice but the wheels I wanted were discontinued.

Oh its a daily driver, lol. I bought it new in Dec 2009, lifted it at 7,000 miles in July and it currently has 12,800 at almost exactly 1yr old. I also drive it from Louisville to Lexington (about 100miles) frequently. Roles down the road smooth as can be at 80mph.

Now, with the bad weather, the loads of salt laying on the chrome wheels is a concern at the moment.

Just to be clear, I didnt build this truck to "offroad"it or beat it up. Sure it will see some trails, some mud, pull a motorcycle trailer, haul dirt, mulch and bushes. But it is NOT intended to climb rocks, flex, or jump. Its a very capable suspension which is why I got the stage II. But I also wanted a certain look. But punishing it is Just not my desire... and if we are being honest, most guys wont do that to their trucks, even the lifted ones. Especially $50k versions. A lifted Plat is a country Cadillac, lol.

She is truly a beauty and I totally respect you for lifting her for your own personal desires. More power to you!

Here ya go...

(This pic also shows the tinted windshield for those who want to bitch about it. Had em tinted this way for 16yrs. Night vision is NOT an issue with quality tint. Really changes the lookof any vehicle and gives it a sinister look.)

Rear sits too low for my taste. Getting a bigger block soon.

Lol, that would be quite an apology. Shelby's Super Snake in Grabber Blue with Black stripes looks incredible. I sometimes regret not getting the white with red stripes. But, in the right light my Kona Blue is unreal.

I'm going with the BDS 6" suspension with 22x12 Monsters in either chrome or machined wrapped with 325/50-22 Kumho Road Venture AT tires. Thanks again for the those last pics. Where did you get your Platinum lettering from, btw?

I am pretty sure the Monsters only come in 22x11... although that 1" well probably eliminate the rubbing issues I have with the 12" width. And I didnt know they came machined?

Oh, and i know the Toyo's are pricey but make sure the tire your opting for doesn't pick up a lot of rocks. My toyos have been good so far and some tires are know to pick up rocks more than others and that is hazaderous to paint with as far as this setup sticks out.

Letters... lol, autozone. Dont laugh lol. I am searching for metal ones. Although the limited had platic letters from the factory, id like billet letters.
