2011 Test Trucks?

Driving to work this morning I passed a load of 2011 Test Trucks, a few of them had Michigan plates on them. There was a HD Edition, Screw EB Lariat, Screw (5.0L Assumption), and Oklahoma Edition. Snapped a few shots from Blackberry.

Enjoy!

Yeah, I kinda gave the HD one of those WTF faces, I really liked deep orangey red color of the one truck though, the one that is available in a SD.

looks like they removed the chrome tail lights from the FX4

or they switched them out with HDs for the event so it looks better

They did with HD headlights and tails. This is one I saw a month or so ago near the KCAP.

From the video

What grille is that on the blue truck in the video. Looks like either an STX or FX2 to me, he calls it a 2wd XLT, but the grille looks like the Harley grille on it. Did they come out with a new grille for the XLT?

That looks like an XLT with the XLT Custom Package. They have painted bumpers, and the XLT Chrome package grille. It's only available with the V6. It someone wants to buy the base model V6 it's a good way to dress it up.

•Unique monochromatic exterior trim with billet-style grille
•18" machined cast aluminum wheels with painted accents
•Chrome exhaust tip
•4" body color running boards
•Unique 40/20/40 cloth black sport seats and interior trim

Those look like the trucks we had fun racing in orlando on Nov 6 during the ford drive em before you can buy em test drives. We had a great time drag racing the 4 new engines. We could also test drive a silverado and a ram. The chevy was junk!! Ram was ok. Fun beating on someone else's vehicle. The front tires on all of them were really worn. They were temp lease vehicles, someone is going to get some well used low milage vehicles. We also towed a 6500 trailer with the eb engine. Not to shabby. Did not have any real hill to really test the engine. Got hats, gloves, and a lanyrd. Great Day, with my 3 sons.
