BedRug & Extang installed

I'm impressed with the BedRug. It's really easy on the knees. Install was easy. Looks fantastic. I went with the Signature Series Trifecta. It took about 15 minutes from the box to fully installed by myself. Fit & finish is really nice.

Is that bar one of those cargo holders? Does it work pretty good?

it looks nice, but i dont understand the purpose of carpeting a pickup bed? isnt that kind of ruining the purpose of a truck?

The bedrug is very durable. Ive had tons of different loads on it without a problem. Its made to be able to handle mulch, dirt, etc. It can be vacuumed out and even pressure washed clean. For me it looks nice and laying or sitting on it is very comfortable. You also don't have to protect you valuables, like furniture, from sliding across a ruff bedliner like linex.

So far so good. It came with the BedRug along with a tail gate seal. It's kept whatever I've put back there from sliding around.

It only looks like carpet. It's actually all plastic. Made of 100% polypropylene. My bed is basically a big trunk. With occasional trips to the lumber & lawn & garden sections @ Lowes. For me, it's more practical than a spray in bed liner.

Curious if the tailgate is padded like the rest of the floor or just the "rug" ? My 2002 SuperDuty was padded and made a nice seat but the Bedrug for my 2004 FX4 wasn't .. Thanks for any info,
Scooter

My tailgate piece on my bedrug is not as padded as the bottom of the bed.

Thanks for posting. I think that's what I'll get. My truck usually hauls bicycles, store bought items in large boxes and occasionally home improvement stuff. That would actually be good for the bikes.
