Nifty Catch it vs. WeatherTech

has anyone actually tried both brands? i like the look of the Nifty better but the WeatherTech seems to come up much higher all the way around.

I have owned a set of the husky's in the past and had no problems but i just want the diamond tread pattern.

the Catch-It's must be new. but yeah, I think the Weathertechs come up higher along the sides.

I used to have the Nifty Catch-All Extreme's. They did their job and lasted me 5 years in my old truck. But now I have Weathertechs in my 09 and are much better than the old Nifty's I had - more coverage and higher sides. But these new Catch-It's seem ok though...

I have the new carpeted catch it's and love them. But we do not get much weather down here in Dallas area. I just wanted the better coverage that the stock mats provided. Plus, I won a free set online...so the price was right.

I have Catch-its in ths front and a one piece Weathertech in the back. They both work great and the Catch-its have a good lip and great coverage. Nifty did not offer the new carpet Catch-its when I got mine but I would buy those. BUT they are more expensive - like $ 35.

I use oem ford rubber mats in summer and have a set of weathertechs for winter.. not a big fan of the front liners because side by doors are flat so water can run out on rocker panel. and salt water runs down between carpet and plastic rocker cover. might replace fronts with huskey liners..

I've been using Weathertech floor liners in 4 different Ford vehicles and wouldn't use anything else. They are a little pricey but well worth the cost.

I havent seen the Catch its but I try to only sell the WeatherTechs unless our customers have to have the Ford brand. I have their floor liners and cargo liner in my SRT-8. Great Products and made in the USA

Have you looked into the ford product? I am picking up a set of all weather mats from the dealer. They look to have good coverage in the front and come with a full rear piece. I have a screw so the back on that is big. Plus for leas than the price of the catch it product (75.00ish) for 3 pieces, it seems like a great deal. Just my 2 cents.

I have the CatchIt plastic or rubber set. They are custom fit and are raised around the edges, just the right amount for me. I don't like the mats that look like a tray and have the real high sides.

I think it's WeatherTek. I don't like the ones that have a turned up edge about 2" tall. Look like a tray that sits under your hot water heater. The CatchIt has a raised edge about 1/2 " tall. I won't ever have more water or mud than that to be caught.
