feels like jumpy transmition or driveline

i got my 2010 lariat 4x4 a few weeks ago. i had an 07 4x4 before. i feel like the truck is bogging or struggling to go when i start from a dead stop. i thought my trans was giving out but my friend says his is the same.... my 07 seemed to have a smoother acceleration. i may just be paying to much mind to it i dont know.

I have a 2010 XLT that is doing the same thing. From a dead stop, sometimes it "flutters" or slips and then accelerates fine. The other morning it "popped into gear" (felt like it) when I accelerated to merge into oncoming traffic...

I have it scheduled to be checked at the dealership since it is still under warranty... That is what that Warranty thing is for, right?? LOL... I will let you know what they say when I get it back, supposed to be a few days from now before they can get to it.

Well, the dealership said, "We did some work last night on the drive shaft" and it seems to have fixed me right up..... At least this morning and yesterday evening it seemed to be fine....

It sounds like a typical 2010 tranny. Not good. Fortunately, they seem to have corrected this in the 2011s.

My 2010 FX4 is going in for the 4th time to have the tranny looked at. Number 4 is the magical number under the Colorado Lemon Law.

Theres a TSB for this all. check 1-2 torque converter lockup, and have them reflash the PCM and TCM.

Worked for me! Both of my 2010's were fixed by this.

Also there is a brand new problem with a sensor uptake valve in the tranny. the factory doesn't have a TSB for this yet, but there is a fix.

really? I'll have to mention it to them, they reflashed the tcm and it didn't eliminate the problem. Thanks for the tip.

RealSniper, Lemon yet?

My 2010 shifts great. I haven't had a better transmission. Hopefully this won't change.
