Do you mind sharing your budget for the facelift so far? Thanks, Kirk
so far everything has cost me around 6k. plus labour for some of the parts.

nice looking truck!!!

Have you still never had any rubbing issues? - I'm looking at doing a similiar setup -just want to make sure your tires aren't rubbing against the control arm?

Also, what did you use to spray your fender wells??

tks

No rubbing at all. Sprayed the wheel wells with rockguard rubber coating.

YA KNOW, THIS IS JUST THE TYPE OF THREAD I CAN'T STAND! Just when a guy thinks he has it all figured out, someone has to come along and upset the apple cart. I've been trying to steer clear of a new truck until fall, and most certainly a Platinum, and now, well... I'm guessing the DW won't be too happy with me. Maaaaannnnnn, that thing looks good!

Well, like the others have said, there is no doubt you did a nice job.
I had a '05 FX4 which i had mod'ed much like you have done. 2.5 Level, 33" Mickey Thompson's and Bilstein 5100's. But i found I lost the factory ride, ended up with a constant vibration that could not be solved and stiffened up the truck.
I'd love to do the same to my Platinum but i hesitate because of the issues I faced with the '05.
My new job has me commuting more and I do not want to do anything to upset my ride quality.
On that note, how do you compare your ride quality now with your set-up versus the factory ride quality.
P.S. Hows that fuel economy holding up??
P.P.S. Go Habs Go!! ;-)

I have the same interior, it is the all light tan. I went with the black factory mats from Ford. I think they only come in black. I do like the Weather techs, I may switch to them down the road, but the black F 150 mats look good and do the job!

Wanted to say that you have a very nice Truck! I am curious on what you use to clean the wheels? Mine are starting to look a little dull and need to be spruced up. Any ideas.

Man I really want to do this my 2009 Platinum or a possible 2011 Platinum, but Im worried about parking garages (daily driver). Anyone care to guess how much height in all this added to the truck?

Tire diameter went from 31.9" to 33.2" so incremental vehicle height of 0.65" (increase in radius) + 2" lift up front so 2.65" taller?

76" Cab Height stock + 2.65" for new height of 78.65"? Man that would rally make my 6'8" parking garage scarier...
