Video: 2011 1/4 mile

Didn't see this posted. Pretty impressive and I can't wait to see what mods will do for the EB.

Nice - my fox body Mustang ran a 14.6X in the 1/4-mile, stock 5-speed.

That really cheeses me that the new base V6 runs so well. Granted, the mid 15 second times posted by that engine were in the reg cab short bed model which is the lightest available, but I can just see my SCrew 4.6 getting dusted by a 3.7 in any of the cab styles. Oh well, such is progress.

I'm pretty sure a 5.3 Chevy would beat a 5.4, so I wouldn't doubt that the 3.7 will dust a 5.4, too.

The 2011 base V6 posted the same times as my stock '99 5.4L.
And the 2011 outweighes mine by over 500 lbs.

I guess it's time for me to put my blinker on and move over to the right lane. :o

To bad you can't get the ecoboost or the 6.2L in the regular cab. The 5.0L reg cab trucks though will be moving on out with a few mods.

Wander what a 3.7 in a Supercab 4X4 would run,my 2010 F-150 Supercab 4X4 4.6 3V,6 Speed auto,3.73LS axle ran a 16.257 at 84.89 mph with only 750 miles on it.I only made one pass track was packed and didn't want to wait to make another pass.I would think the 4.6 would be faster even though the 3.7 has more power but not as much torque.

Later Mark.

Haha, I actually pulled it from a GM car website, so it's probably been used a few times.
