Which to buy?

2010 or 2011? Sold my '04 S.Crew a couple years ago and ready to buy another. I'll be using section 179 for deduction. Still, I have to pay for it. Ay reason to buy an '11 over a '10 (other than lower inventory/choice in the '10s)?
Thanks

'11s have brand new engines, new productivity LCD screen, new selectable transmission, more of the upper models have rear locker differentials in them, better MPG, more power.....lots of reasons. Just depends if you're willing to wait, and pay that little bit more. I'm sure you can get a better deal on the 2010 right now, and you'll have the truck right now.

Wow - read the "2011 or 2010" thread directly above yours on the first page. Tons of good answers in there...

Like they mentioned, there are tons of changes. Do a little searching and you are sure to come up with lots of info. Obviously the major change is the 3.5 EB and the 5.0 V8.

IMO: 2011 or bust

2011. Why buy a 2010 when the EB is right around the corner? I even want to trade my '09 for an '11 EB, and that makes no financial sense whatsoever for me to do.

Then again, perhaps we can wait until the 2037 Model Year. It will run on flour, baking soda... and I think eggs and cinnamon!

Until then, let's hope Ford is able to hire a massive force of engineer's to work tirelessly, attempting to figure out the extremely complex process of adding Upfitter Switches into the F-150 sometime in our lifetime. This has been an ongoing process for FoMoCo since 2008. It's an obstacle they just cannot seem to overcome, no matter how many years pass us by. I wish them God's speed and good luck in this most exhausting of labors and difficult tasks. I almost feel bad asking for this feature, since it is obviously such a herculean effort to figure out.

Lots of changes for 2011 well documented on the Interwebz. Google is your friend. Heck, Ford even has most of it listed. They will not all be reiterated in this thread. Only you can decide if the 2011 is worth your money over the 2010.

For me, 2011+ only.

Def go with the 2011 unless you can find a screaming deal on a 2010.
