Ipod or Zune for Microsoft Sync

Was just curious if somebody has used both. I currently have an 80gb ipod, but its a tad flakey, always has been. I'm considering either getting a zune 120 or the 160gig ipod. Just curious if the zune works better since its a microsoft product. One thing I like about it is I can sync wirelessly. I would be using this device strictly for my truck, I wouldnt be taking it out of my truck except to add new music.

Since you intend on leaving it in the truck, I recommend a USB flash drive or USB powered HDD stored in the console or glove compartment and connected to USB2.

I read somewhere that it can only index a certain number of songs. I have 8500 songs already and by the end of the year i should be up to 12,000

Depending on the size of the tag data, 12k is the theoretical limit.

Zune, iPod, USB flash, or HDD, the limit is the same.

Correct, you could have 30,000 songs on your iPod, Sync will only index 12,000 give or take.
