I have polk components running off an eclipse amp (amps and cap mounted behind rear seat). Much, much better than stock. For the front door, I replaced the speakers and installed the tweeters up behind the small grill by the door handle. For the rear, replaced the speakers and drilled a hole and mounted my tweeters flush in the door panel. Shallow mounts under the rear seat. Never looked back, great mod to do.
