Front bumper plastic inserts painted.

Does anyone have pictures of the two giant black plastic front bumper inserts painted? I just painted my skull caps on my mirrors, and I would like to PTM the plastic inserts on the front bumper.(Silver) I have a chrome bumper and would like to see some others that have been done. People have talked about the paint chipping off the painted bumpers, but I'm not too worried about that issue. I have seen these plastic pieces painted on a black truck with plack painted bumpers, but I have not seen any other colors. Any pictures or input on the idea would be nice. Thanks.

I have been on the verge of doing this too on my blue flame. I think it would look good but still am not sure. They are pretty cheap to buy replacement ones. Do it and post pics. The only pics I have seen are two trucks on ebay at some dealership that customized them. Those trucks also had some ugly grill with lights. I will see if I can find them.

Mine are at the painters now. Should be interesting. I saw a red truck with them painted a few weeks ago and it looked good. I will try to post pics when I get them back.

Couple of questions on the inserts. How do you remove them? and how much do replacements cost?

Replacements are only about $13 for the pair from tasca. They have little clips on the back and are kind of a pain to get off without stretching out the plastic clips.
