anyone have the banks #140346 or borla #140291. need feedback on cab sound and drone if any. had the banks on my titan, it was too much.

 

It isn't that bad, but around 1800 it's kind of loud. Sounds good other wise. I don't regret buying it.

 

I have been very happy with my Banks system. When accelerating around 1800 it does drone but only for a second. When cruising around 1800 it doesn't drone, only when accelerating.

 

I'm going to save up for the borla.

Firetruck, did you get the Borla installed? What are your thoughts on this exhaust? Any drone?

it will be here on tuesday. jegs was back ordered. went with streetside auto, had them in stock.

there is no drone to speak of. all the sound is coming from the tail pipe, not the muffler, which is rich and deep. unlike the corsa which is dead quite at cruise, the borla has a low deep rumble, the kind you can listen to all day long. I like it alot. what i noticed on mine(unlike the one on sema at sema) it was louder, maybe because i reset the battery during the whole install. since then it has quiten down. adjusting(driving 400 miles) is what borla calls it. will give a final after about 400 miles. the thing about the borla, you always no it's there. the corsa would be my second choice.
