2010 fx2

Well I am somewhat new to this board. I bought a F-150 xlt in 2005 and sold it in 2007. I am now in the market for a 2010 F-150 FX2 with leather. I am curious to know what you guys purchased your trucks for. I will be purchasing this truck cash, so hopefully this will encourage a better deal. Well any info will help as I will be purchasing this truck very soon, hopefully by the end of the week.

Thanks!

Im currently about to pull the trigger on a 2010 FX2 with leather and am still working out specifics. Right now Im at $29,600 out the door with ford financing. MSRP is $36,140. Does this sound like a good deal?

1) i own a house. hard to work on it if you dont have something to bring stuff home from the lumber yard and bring stuff to the junk yard.
2) i have kids. ever try to bring stuff around for 2 children, your ol' lady, and your own *** and try to stuff it all into a vw?
3) i've only owned 2 cars in my life. my first one and my race one. other than that i've owned 80 f150, 70 w300, 77 bronco, 75 f250 hiboy, 95 ram, and now my fx4. needless to say i love trucks.

Anything around 10K (with rebates) off seems about normal right now.

Between $29k and $30k for my XLT Supercrew 4x4 with chrome package and 20inch rims. I don't think I've ever felt so good about a purchase. Cheaper than my 2004 2wd Lariat I bought in October 2003.
I took advantage of the $7,500 rebates and also my fathers "Z Plan" benefit (Ford Retiree discount).
It was even better turning down their $8,500 trade in offer on my 2004 and selling the truck a week later for $12,000. The tough part is when they tacked on that 7.5% sales tax.
Lovin' this truck though with the newly tinted windows, 2 inch leveling kit and Line X.

I'm picking up my supercab on Saturday and I'm right in that ballpark, price-wise.

Just picked up a 2010 FX2 (without leather) this past weekend and it came out to $26,090 and change out the door minus my big spending $500 down to help cover TT&L. lol

They did have a FX2 with leather and that was about $450 more, but I did not like the color which was Blue.

The FX2's were about $11,000 off MSRP
XLT's $10,000 - $12,000 off MSRP
Platinums and Harley Davidson's were about $15,000 off

I am not trading in anything, and I'm buying it cash and the best deal I can find is 31,600 otd, in Cali we have 8.75 tax. This is after getting 5 quotes. I feel like I'm not getting the best deal, and Scanalous is not making me feel any better. What do you guys recommend I do?

Like Rok said, post the MSRP and the price they are offering.

Ignore what everyone else is paying if they won't list the MSRP and options. They could spend less but get less options. You could go option crazy and spend more but get better deal. Price doesn't matter if you don't know what they are getting. Post the MSRP.
