When you say works with sync, in what way? If you are looking for an aftermarket system that sync can just plug into, then none exist. That being said, you can add your existing sync to most aftermarket systems via a kit that would go through your aux (or similar) of the aftermarket system. I considered adding this to my pioneer when I had it installed, but found the voice command control of the unit to be acceptable, and could not find a specific reason why I wanted to keep the sync. (with the kit I can always add it in the future if I really want it)

If you buy the 'best' of any aftermarket DVD/Nav systems, you don't need SYNC. The aftermarket head units will do everything SYNC will do, plus some.
