this question might be stupid and im sorry if it is but i have a 2010 xcab 4.6 2v and i changed the oil at 2k and at 5k and was going to change every 5k after. so i wasnt going to change again till 10k but i have 7k on it and the change oil soon light came on and i dont know how to get it off. can someone help me?

mine started coming on recently as well. i know it is part of the oil life monitor. its listed in the owners manual for the reset procedure.
